
Prof. Dr. Eylem Karatay
She is a specialist with many years of experience in gastroenterology and hepatology. She completed her medical education at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2004. She received her internal medicine residency training at SSK Dışkapı Training and Research Hospital.
She completed her gastroenterology subspecialty training at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine and further specialized in digestive system diseases. She continued her academic development at international centers.
In 2012, she participated in advanced endoscopy studies at The Johns Hopkins University Advanced Endoscopy Center. In 2017, she received further training at Korea University Advanced Endoscopy Center, strengthening her international clinical experience.
Advanced endoscopic procedures, endosonography, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic and biliary tract diseases are among her areas of expertise. Adopting a scientific and evidence based approach, Prof. Dr. Eylem Karatay prioritizes patient safety and accurate diagnosis.
She currently works at Liv Hospital, applying modern methods in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases. A planned and meticulous approach is maintained at every stage of the disease process.
